I would also like to see this feature. Just like enable/disable the compass or grid in the settings it would be cool to have the option to include the rendered gpx track on the map. this makes in particular sense if you want to print a map with a given track that someone should follow.
I took a look at the source but must admit that my java needs to be refreshed a bit ;)
Is there someone out who might be able to give a hint where this would need to go?
There's this "GpxPainterTileProvider" that lists two TODOs ... I'm wondering if that's the right spot to add code (in addition to make changes for the settings enable/disable).
anyways as time permits I would try reading bit more of the code but would appreciate some help from any developer.

I already started to prepare a GPX tile painter some day but it is still not finished and don't have the time to finish it at the moment.
