Positioning

Practical dev comparison that supports the CLAUDE.md workflow-overlap angle. A CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md / project-instructions file is advisory context the model may ignore; Mneme promotes the load-bearing rules into typed decisions with a precedence engine and hook-level enforcement. Framed as coexistence ("keep the prose, promote the rules"), not replacement — and explicitly differentiated from the existing claude-code-memory page (that one is about Claude Code's memory feature; this is about the instructions file as a cross-tool artifact).
