I noticed there is an option for notification emails to be sent out. However, I didn't see any place specify an SMTP server or an SMTP username/password.

My mail server is not on the same box as my Web server, so I need to specify a hostname to send mail from Web sites. Also my mail host requires a username & password to send mail to prevent spam, so I'd need to specify that as well.

Thanks!

I'm not going to lie...I have never used a non-local SMTP server before and I do not know how to implement one. I could probably figure it out using a class like PHPMailer, but I know you cannot do it with PHP's default mail() function.

For now, I'd recommend just disabling mail notifications. They are not very important anyways. The only 2 types of emails that are currently sent out. One is a confirmation notice telling the entrant that the bracket has been received. The other is sent to the administrator with a copy of all of each user's picks.
