Hello, how can I increase the size of the rollback buffer which holds the last X lines of the terminal and usual can be reviewed if a user press shift+PgUp? Is there a possibility to configure that by a user config file? And how do I have to configure that systemwide? Seems that there is no commandline argument where a user can set such a buffer. Right? btw: I'm using mlterm within fluxbox, which is distributed as a part of the GParted Live CD/USB System, based on debian. See: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ Thomas |

I suspect that it's a problem of font settings, but I don't know what causes this problem. If you show your current settings (~/.mlterm/main, font, aafont files etc), something can occur to me. The simplest (makeshift) way to solve it is to adjust screen width by 'screen_width_ratio' option. --- Araki Ken ara...@us... |

Hello, I started using mlterm a few days ago to see how it is working with Arabic and I, at least generally, liked it! I've found one major issue for me, which is the fact that the running app (e.g. Emacs) doesn't take the whole width of mlterm screen. I tried looking for it in the settings and searching the web, but I found nothing. I was wondering if that's a configurable setting. I don't have a plan to support threse features. For now I don't think that these features are necessary for mlterm itself (actually mlconfig and mlterm-menu are external programs), but for example, if mlterm is embeded and wrapped in a GTK+ widget in the future, supporting these features by using GTK+ is worth considering. Thanks. --- Araki Ken ara...@us... |

Hello, My name is Liel and I'm a member of the Ubuntu Israeli LoCo. Due to a bug in gnome-terminal, we try to install mlterm with the hebrew language packs. Unfortunately, there are missing features in mlterm: - There are no menus and graphical settings. - There are no profiles. - There is no clipboard support. We will be glad if you'll add these features in the next version of mlterm. Liel. |

Hi, uahello> I wonder if mlterm support embedding and if it can replace vte. I think the simplest way to substitute mlterm for vte is to support XEmbed protocol and wrap embedded mlterm screen in a GTK+ widget which provides vte compatible API functions. It looks interesting, but not so easy. At present I don't have a plan to try it. --- Araki Ken ara...@us... |
