No

Choosing a transcoder in Winamp 5.6 gives a list with just the official MP3 codec, no AAC. I think Winamp renamed their AAC codecs so the filter in CfgTranscoder.cpp is bad. I recommend adding MP4, AAC, and switch to strncasecmp() if it's available.

Maybe eventually I'll figure out how to build ml_ipod.dll myself, but if you have _DUBUG defined with showAllCodecs=1, you should see the new names.

P.S. Now if only you would handle multibyte encodings. I have some Russian music that got fucked up, but I am happier now!

You know what, the files are getting on there with a .aac extension, and they don't play on the ipod or in any media player.

Looks like I'm going to switch back to pmp_ipod.dll and transcode my entire library from flac again :(. And hope Winamp doesn't crash this time.

Or you can install the dll from an older version of WInamp: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=332503
