Release 1-2 of the mknew bash library provides the following new capabilities.

1. A "textfile" capability is added to allow deployment of textfiles to arbitrary destinations. This capability adds support for the deployment of system configuration and localization files. For example, resolv.conf is usually kept in /etc. The "textfile" capability allows this file to be managed and edited in a user's directory tree and copied to the /etc directory using the "mk text" command.... read more
