Hello - I am using a Raspberry Pi camera with mjpg_streamer and notice a very yellow/green tint under fluorescent light. This implies that the awb (auto white balance) is either not working or not set.
there are some built in functions for the raspberry pi camera when used from the stock apps such as "raspistill" and apparently these were also reported to have awb problems (i.e. awb always on but not working well, even when set to be off).
Apparently these issues were fixed with recent builds of ... something... not sure if it's raspistill or some other underlying library. It seems like it might be an underlying library, and perhaps something that mjpg_streamer is useing and could perhaps be updated to allow the awb fix to take effect.
Sorry this is a bit vague.

Here's a link with some details and the Broadcom developer who worked on the AWB code in the Raspberry Pi GPU. Maybe something you guys could use in there to see if updating a particular library would make mjpg_streamer start to obey the awb commands.
