I recently installed ActiveState's perl 5.6 on both a Windows98 and Windows 2000 systems. In both cases, it seems that mh will periodically leak memory. I haven't monitored the Windows 98 box too closely yet (taskman98 is the best thing I have found to monitory memory on 98), but on Windows 2000, I can set alerts using the Performance monitor and it seems that mh adds about 30 meg of memory every once and a while! I have to restart mh every 24 hours or so or I will get > 120 meg of virtual memory used. On the same systems, I can run mh.exe (compiled pre 5.6) without a problem. Is anyone else using 5.6 yet?
