Info from the manual - I have never used the board. It is an Everex Multi i/o Multiport communications controller card. It is an intelligent adapter capable of supporting full duplex async communications between the computer and up to eight async RS232 serial ports. It can control Hayes modems, serial terminals, serial printers. It has an on board 80186 processor (10 MHZ) and 128K ram expandable to 256K 64K of dual ported RAM that can be shared between the host computer system and the on board 80186. It has two way interupts between the host computer and 80186. Two DMA controllers provide 8 DMA channels. Can be installed in an AT bus compatible 80386 or better running UNIX. Board comes with all manuals, user as well as cumstom programming manual and software and 8 modular RJ-45 adapter that plugs in the back of the card. Also included is one 25 ft RJ-45 cable and two RJ-45 to DB25 adapters. Card requires a full length AT slot and has sockets for additional memory. Let me know if interested.
