I think I see the problem here with supporting X10 dimming commands. To put a dim in for the old X10 devices, you need to put delays in between dim commands. And for different X10 device "set-to-level" commands, may vary between manufacturers. So there needs to be a bit of work to support all these? So what do you X10/Insteon folks do out there for controlling both types of devices? I assume you utilize both the X10 (i.e. cm-11a) and the Insteon (i.e. 2413-S) controllers and assign the devices in the items.mht file accordingly? From: n1...@ho... To: mis...@li... The X10 dim commands to an old X10 device are sent individually until it arrives at a desired dim level. I'll try to proceed to figure this out... From: n1...@ho... To: mis...@li... Date: Sat, 25 May 2013 17:38:59 -0400 Subject: [mh] Clues on how to dim an X10 light using Insteon Controller I'm trying to be able to dim some X10 light controllers from an Insteon 2413S controller. I'm working with the latest GIT and am only able to turn on or off, any dimming commands are ignored. I have the Insteon command doc, and have been looking through the mh/lib/Insteon code, but could really use some clues as to where to implement changes.
