That is a tough one.  I just don't see the issue.  The relevant links are:

Link table for $front_porch_fan

Those look correct to me.  I can't tell any difference between the one
below that you said works:

Link table for $kitchen_island_light

[0x0fc7] contlr(04) record to $kitchen_island_light (01), (d1:03, d2:00,

I know you know to check for this already, but is the in-linelinc receiving
the message from the KPL?
