I've figured out how to initially link an I2CS device remotely and will add that functionality to the initial linking process. While looking through the existing voice commands and associated code I've concluded that the current functionality is a bit redundant especially now that sync links seems to be working. I would like to ask your opinion as to how the process "should" work. What should be accomplished by "link to interface" in the device voice commands? Add initial device controller link to PLM as responder? Add initial PLM controller link to device as responder? Sync the scene memberships? If this is a keypad device should all buttons be automagically linked as well? Or should just the second item be included for I2CS devices then require the user to select "sync links" which will accomplish the remainder? I1/I2 devices would not have this command at all but rely on "sync links". I'm trying to work through all the steps in the process that starts off with "user receives shiny new Insteon device from Smarthome". Sincerely, Michael |
