Hi, I'am a lurker. I will throw my 2-cent hat into the ring. I have seen more activity since GIT was adopted than we've had since Bruce Winter was active. GIT is the way to go. Freeze subversion where it is, and the group can move forward on GIT. Thanks to Liven for making this happen. As for the wiki, if my work schedule eases a bit in February, I will consider volunteering to help with it then. But that is a big if. Again, thanks to all of you contributors! I have my opinion (which sounds like it is the same as yours) but I don't want to assume. If we have rough consensus that the Git master is the future of Misterhouse then I'll consider that while updating the wiki. For example I could: Create pages that describe or point to git instructions Burry all references to svn in an archive section Rewrite the Insteon pages to describe the new syntax Are we there yet as a group? -----Original Message----- From: Lieven Hollevoet [mailto:li...@li...] Sent: Saturday, December 15, 2012 9:28 AM To: The main list for the MisterHouse home automation program Subject: Re: [mh] Insteon Branch (Git Master) MHT Format Hi Michael, > Does anyone have opinions as to how we manage the documentation going > forward? IMHO we should proceed with the git master. SVN trunk is not merged with Insteon, only the git master is. So the new format only applies to the git master. Or am I missing something?
