I've been considering doing the same thing, and if I decide to go for it 
I'd go with a Brultech ECM-1240, and I'd follow Marc's documentation to 
the letter since I've done that before for my INSTEON and 1-wire 
deployments and they went pretty well (thanks again Marc! ;-) )
