So, I woke up with a bunch of lights on today, which honestly I'm not sure how they were turned on. I checked my mh logs and they do not show the lights being turned on, and the ones that worry me somewhat are the yard lights that could be on for days without me noticing because you can't tell they're on during the day, and I don't see them from my windows at night. The obvious thing to do is to just query lights and send a warning if they are on at the wrong time so that I can investigate. I know that in theory if all my controlling devices are paired with my PLM, mh should keep track of on/off events, even initiated by other devices (like let's say my cat walking on the buttons of my remotelinc), but I want to to be able to query for the real status, not the status that mh thinks the device have. So, what's the programmatic way to have mh query a device via poll to get the real status as opposed to just asking mh to give me the status it thinks the device has.
