I am using Neptun 14W 2700K dimmable CFLs with insteon modules/switches. 
  I like their color output in contrast to some, more affordable CFLs. 
For me, they dim just fine for most scenes and the dim level doesn't 
drift.  I don't like trying to manually dim them as dimming isn't linear 
and the real operating range is fairly limited.  That's why I prefer 
scenes or presets as I can determine the exact dim level that is 
desired.  I can't, however, use them effectively in "night-light" mode 
as that's just too dim.  I found that I could get them to dim down that 
low if they were on (full or high dim) for a while; but, they could 
never turn on to such a low dim level if they were off.  I haven't had 
them long enough to comment about long-term build-quality/lifetime.
