Hey Rick/Greg/Bruce/Matt,

Thought I'd pass this on, as News, and wondering how to introduce this
into the list. ... or should we just hash out some of the core details
then go on the list....

So we should probobly consider making a 'wish list' in terms of getting
some sort of API exposure to ruth that we(and others) can leverage.  First
thing that comes to mind is the patch for ?? keeping the window open ???
can't exactly remember.

Perhaps some sort of rendering interface that can use SDL vs GLX that
would open usage up a lot.  I've been struggling with which Lnx versions
drivers cards etc to use (and my best server box refuses to do GL )

Just looking for the best coure, and to share this exciting news and
feedback :)

Ok.  So believe it or not, we're now taking a look at Ruth, and what we
need to do to make another release.  We've mainly updated the model so
it's more expressive.  The whole thing is badly in need of a rewrite,
though.  So this is going to be more of a crutch-release, so researchers
can use recent results.

But we should definitely talk this coming week, so we can find out what
you had in mind - since if it requires small changes, we might possibly
be able to make them.
