What I am seeing from your various tests is that nothing (mh's insteon logic or the above separate test) is able to properly write to the PLM. You seem to be able to receive some x10 signals. So, receive is possibly ok. I realize that you wanted to pair your SwitchLinc w/ the PLM using the documented approach w/ the voice command: "complete insteon linking as responder". But, have you also tried the SmartLabs documented approach for manual linking? I did that for my first several devices before I added some of the linking "assistants". If it is linked, then perhaps you might receive a proper insteon report from the switch. If so, then this may provide more info (although, I'm still at a loss to explain your communications problems). > Is there a quick way to test the PLM on a Windows machine?
