Yeah, I have checked all of the usual suspects. I actually took it outside and tried to see what kind of line-of-sight range I could get. I got about 75-100 feet before it became unreliable. Even that seemed like a low range,and based on your answer, it REALLY is. I will keep playing around. I have a feeling that the environment is contributing to the problem, but there may something more fundametally wrong with the one I received. I bought two (one for a gift) and I may dig it out and see if it works any better. Thanks for the advice, Jim.
