Melanie- Sounds like you might have a weak signal at the desired outlet or you have a noisy appliance on the same circuit as the desired outlet. If the desired outlet is on the opposite phase as your CM11, it's possible that you have a weak signal at the outlet and a phase coupler might help. If you have a fridge or laptop or some other appliance on the same circuit as the desired outlet, you may have a noise problem, and it's possible a noise filter at the offending appliance would resolve the problem. Try unplugging any appliances on the same circuit one by one to see if it resolves it. Hope this helps some.
