Howard, Each DS10A generates a random identification code. Each time you hold and press the setup button on the DS10, a new code will be generated. This is necessary if you consider that you might have multiple DS10 devices in your house. You are required to update your code to match the device id. The "unmatched security" messages in the MH log file helps you to identify what the code is :-) The most simple means to load the DS10A code(s) is to put the code information in the x10_items.mht file. If you read the mh documentation, you should find the information on how to use the x10_items.mht file. Hope this helps.
