Okay, so I am a marine science major, and one of the reasons that I want to learn to use MH is because of it's ability to automate based on variables and such. I want to get a "smart" and highly realistic environment for my reef animals in my home reef systems. I work in a lab at the University of South Carolina, and would love to be more handy with MH in order to get som= e cool things going there as well. I have recently finished writing some simple scripts that handle some of my tasks, based on time_now, $Dark, $Moon{brightness} and such, things that help me out considerably. I do not see info for two things though, Moonrise and Moonset, and High and Low tide= . This is probably outside the range of needs that the average user will have= , but for me they are key. I have located some web pages that give a daily prediction of these variables, but I have no clue how to make this information useful to MH, so I can write perl scripts to automate things accordingly. So, here's what I mean. This link<http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/boatandbeach/weather/tenday/= USSC0051>has information relative to my location, for tide, moonlight stuff: Can I get MH to use any of this information, like it uses Sunrise and Sunset info from online resources? I would appreciate any and all help in this matter, as I am truly excited about using MH, but I am just now learning my way around it. Thanks for the help, Joey |
