Mike what you want then is my next stage of modifications to weather_IB_Client. I've stripped out the arnenet support and instead use the texttcpreport function in the OWW program. This allows you to create a custom text string, that has what ever mix of sensors you want, that is sent to the weather_iB_OWW program from OWW (or owwnogui in my case). Whereas by using the arnenet data string you only got current_tempC, max_tempC, min_tempC, current_speedMS, peak_speedMS, max_speedMS, current_dir, max_dir, rain_rateI, rain_todayI, rain_weekI,rain_month I've got current_out_tempC(Anemometer) dewpointC current_in_tempC current_windkph wind_gust_kph wind_dir rainrate_mm rain_mm rain_lasthrm humiduty_outside humidity_inside And you can keep adding sensors such as barometers, soil moisture, water level etc etc as long as the sensor is supported by OWW. Interesting weather_rrd_update has support for up to 12 temp and humidity sensors I can send an "alpha" copy if you want, but it will need some coding changes to suit your sensor arrangement. The remaining tasks I have to do are - add a function that uses am .ini parameter to define the 1-wire sensors so that custom code changes aren' t required for each installation. - test it against weather_rrd_update further ( I am have some rrd parsing errors appear sometimes #$@$@$) - further testing that the C/F switch doesn't cause any unforeseen side effects Guy Michael Brown wrote: > Guy Gibson wrote: > >> Pete its working well and I've made some changes to the code. >> It now uses the default_temp parameter in mh.ini to determine whether >> to use metric or imperial units and formats its output accordingly. > > > Hi Guy! > > Are these changes in CVS?
