I've also worked a lot with their developers ( I knew Motion and Asterisk quite well from my previous "MH as glue" home automation/entertainment system) and they are progressing well. They are coming from the other side of the story - from easier novice user interface to functionality (Mh is IMHO in opposite direction)..... In some way both systems want to do similar things, although Pluto puts a lot of efforts in user interfaces... But it's more hard to contribute to Pluto since you need to do C - and not Perl - but maybe this will change eventually.... So my experiences are good so far, just hoping to stay in that way.... But MH will always be my first love :-) ....
