Thanks Greg, I can confirm that this version appears to be working just fine for my xPL application. Brent -----Original Message----- From: mis...@li... Subject: [misterhouse-users] Re: xPL(hit send accidentally, complete message here) Well, let's hope the attached is now the (near) final version. I discovered yet one more problem w/ both xAP_Item and xPLItems from handling hbeats properly. As an aside, the existing xap_monitor and xpl_monitor examples in test_xap.pl no longer report heart-beats as the default is to now totally ignore them unless you explicitly are looking for them. Here are examples of any-source, hbeat monitors that I now use: $xap_hbeat_monitor = new xAP_Item; $xap_hbeat_monitor->class_name('xap-hbeat.alive'); $xap_hbeat_monitor->tie_event('print_log "xap hbeat.alive: $state"'); $xpl_hbeat_monitor = new xPL_Item; $xpl_hbeat_monitor->class_name('hbeat.app'); $xpl_hbeat_monitor->tie_event('print_log "xpl hbeat: $state"'); Note that the difference is specifying the classname. |
