We expect mh to use a little bit more memory as > it starts up and new code is exersized. > > Here is an example: > > $remote_M9 = new X10_Item 'M9'; > set $lrlights '50%' if state_now $remote_M9 eq OFF; > > Bruce what is the difference (good or bad) between the above code and the following $lr_lights_dim = new Serial_Item 'XMK'; if (state_now $lr_lights_dim) { set &lrlights '40%'; } (the above code may not be perfect. I am typing this from work from my memory) The only problem I have is this. I want M9 off to dim the lights down to 40%. I want M9 on to turn on these lights and also bring them up to 100% if they were previously dimmed. The problem i am having is that sometimes when one of the lights gets turned off and the other is dimmed, when i press the M9 on key it doesn't brighten back the dimmed lamp to 100% until i turn it off and then press M9 on again. The other lamp that was off comes back on just fine. I am using the same code I posted above except for the variables $lr_lights_on and using set $lrlights '100%'; Is there anything that I am doing wrong? I mentioned in a previous post that The memory leak was fixed. At least it was last night. I had spaces in the group declarations for the items in items.mht and it was causing this problem. The leak then was like 1 to 2 mb every minute. |
