[misterhouse-users] Automatically running MisterHouse on startup with Linux

I am running Fedora Core 1 and I want MisterHouse to run automatically
on startup.  Here's the catch: I use MisterHouse to control XMMS.  If
I start it manually, it works just fine.  If I start it as a service
(i.e. /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S99mh), it runs, but it can't start XMMS.  I
don't want it to run from a login script because I sometimes make
multiple connections to the computer and I don't want multiple
instances running.

Do any of you have any bright ideas?  Thank you.
