Hello, I've recently moved to Linux, as I've mentioned before, and am using theta (Cepstral) for my TTS engine. Since I only have one voice, "Frank", I have to map all voices that I use to use to "Frank". To so this, i tried these lines: speak_engine=theta speak_volume=90 speak_voice=Frank voice_names=female=>frank,male=>frank,male1=>frank,male2=>frank,Mary=>frank,Mike=>frank,Sam=>frank Specifically, i thought that voice_names parm would take care of this, but unfortunately, theta is complaining, like below: unmute: The garage door has been left open. sending AW43\r to the weeder card(s) Failed to find voice male usage: theta [OPTIONS] [text | file] ... -f Interpret arguments as filenames (default is as text strings) -p Interpret arguments as phoneme strings ...etc... It looks as thought MH is trying to use the voice "male". If this is called as a parm with "speak", shouldn't MH map this to "frank" given the above MH parm? Thanks! Steve |
