Kirk, The Weeder runs at 9600 which is about 1000 characters a second, and commands are 3 bytes so you could be up to 300/2 on/offs per second which is faster than a relay will want to go. However depending on your machine and how much code, or other processes are running there will be bigger delays there depending on how your code is written. Since mh only cycles the code say 10 times per second depending on your passes setting that may be the governing factor, or worst of all if it decides to do a 'pause' you would really be slowed up. In simple test phase on a 133 pentium it seemed to be less than half a second from clicking a command to my test led coming on, but I don't really think mh is designed to work in a short time critical mode.
