I *think* I would be, too, although I'm not sure what the benefits might be. This garage door status indicator thing, it sounds like a cool idea and I found one on ebay a while ago. But, the description said something about it being just one of three components originally provided by Stanley, and I'm not sure what to make of that. Also, does this gizmo have any dependency on Stanley garage door openers, of which I have none (I have a vintage 1984 Sears opener, instead). What would be cool is to have MH make a bunch of noise if it thinks the garage door is open anytime past, oh, say 23:00 weekdays and anytime past 02:30 Fri & Sat nights. Don't close it "for me," just make a bunch of noise and let me decide for myself if it should be closed or not. Can these here Stanley doodads interface to MH to provide the open/closed information? ct --- John Conrader <con...@ma...> wrote: > I would be interested in this.
