Okay... thanks for that... I have gotten that working. Now, a new situation with this... How do I set the parms in mh.ini (or elsewhere???) so that when I tell mh to lower the volume of winamp, it does it on the remote box that I'm talking to, and not the box that is running winamp/shoutcast/httpq? In other words, I don't know how to differentiate the different winamps around the house within mh. I was looking thru the mp3_control file and saw where there was a line that said $host = 'localhost' unless $host; I changed 'localhost' to the ip address that is running winamp/httpq/shoutcast. I'm sure that's not the correct way to do it, but that's the only way I could make mh control winamp remotely. Keep in mind, I'm not very good at this scripting stuff if you choose to reply. ;-) Thanks for your time!
