I'm currently using a Hauppauge WinTv-Go card under windows and wrote a very simple Perl script that uses their OCX component to take snapshots. I've been trying to find an OCX that allows me to do streaming captures with no user interaction, but it's proving to be difficult. (If I had to do it again I'd buy the WinTV-PVR model instead). -Dave -----Original Message----- From: mis...@li... Subject: [misterhouse-users] What Camera HW to get I'd like to set up a couple of cameras around the house (inside and covered outside) and control these from mh. They would primarily be used for talking picutres triggered by some mh event but if they can double as web cams that would be fine. Any suggestions on what camera I should get and what other HW I'll need such as video board etc that would be fairly easy to integrate with mh. (I'm not much of a perl programmer) Fredrik __________________________________________________________________ The NEW Netscape 7.0 browser is now available.
