Hi, I wrote a small piece of code to create the small textbuttons on the fly with the text you want... No need to fire up the png editor anymore... It uses GD.pm (an idea from Bruce), so you have to install that... Then copy textbutton.pl to web/bin, copy menutext.jpg to web/ia5/_template (gd doens't support the alpha layer stuff in .png...) and change the <img> tags in your html code to something like this: <img src="/bin/textbutton.pl?About MrHouse" border="0"> Drawbacks until now; the font is a little bigger than the font I used (only a few sizes/types available with gd), so not everything may fit... And it's not antialiased, so looks a bit sharp. You can compile your GD with TrueType support and use that...(not tried yet). This routine can ofcourse be adapted to also create the other buttons I used in ia5.. (maybe an extra param type/size?) Regards, Ron. |
