I am having this same problem now that I have swithed to Linux. I tried out the snipet of code you supplied, and it works (with updates to the use lines to point to misterhouse install dir.) I noticed quite a few relative path variables. I do not know if this is part of the problem or not, just caught my eye. Hope someone has some ideas of what to try next.
