Hi Roy In answer to question 2 I use MS Encoder 7. It is a free download from = you know who. It will allow you to see live video at around 15 to 20 FPS = with audio. Not only can you see what is happening you can here the = computer voice telling the house what you would here when you were home. = The only thing I would say is you want at least a PIII to do this, it is = MPU hungry. If you want to see it in action go to=20 www.galeforce9.btinternet.co.uk and select webcam from the menu on the left. It may be better if you = wait until it is dark as the light you can switch on / off is a 500w = flood light in the eves. When it is dark the camera will be in darkness = but switch the light on and you will see my drive come into view (And = hopefully two cars, if not call the police !). You will also here the = computer tell the house that the internet light was turned on etc. I = live in the UK so don't forget the time difference. If it is after = 11.00pm BST the voice will be muted, I will be trying to sleep ! Two (probably easy) questions: 1. I'm able to receive, but not send, email via misterhouse, no matter = which account I use. In MS-DOS, I see the following: Running: get_email -quiet Checking email accounts: account_1 roy_at_home Done running: get_email Sending mail with account_1, from Misterhouse to rp...@ya... Logging into mail server smtp.ne.mediaone.net to send msg to = rp...@ya... Message sent =20 But... e-mail never arrives. I'm using MH 2.56 (had the forking = problem with 2.55), though I had the same e-mail problem with prior = versions too. If it matters, I'm running Win98 and sharing a cable modem = via a router (the problem occurs with a direct connection, too). Anyone = have any ideas? 2. (extra credit?) - anyone know the simplest way to put a simple = (private) webcam (a Kensington videocam) on my MH web page, so I can = peek at the house as I turn things on/off remotely?
