I have a Bogen C-20 'Classic Series' PA amplifier.  This is a 20 
watt unit which I was told "would comfortably handle 10 speakers". 
I think that Radio Shack sells this exact model.  

E-Bay is a pretty good source for these things.  I paid about $20 for 
mine (I think that Radio Shack sells them for about 10x this 
amount new).  

Another place to check is http://www.partsexpress.com/.  They 
have some lower cost alternatives (~$100).
