I found that the range for a manual button press was actually greater than for a motion triggered event. I don't have any explaination for this behavior but I had the same trouble on several (but not all) of my units. The first thing that I would try is to make sure that your transceiver is well inside the transmission range of the MR13A. I have also found that range is affected by the MR13A's orientation and proximity to metal doors. Evan |
