Looks like LWP::Useragent supports this.  I got this from the local perldoc
html, search for useragent:

$ua->credentials($netloc, $realm, $uname, $pass)
Set the user name and password to be used for a realm. It is often more
useful to specialize the get_basic_credentials() method instead.
---

So you can try modifying mh/bin/get_url &use_ua section and try adding the
above.  If it works, let me know and we can add here also.
