Hi, When you dont have a WAP phone available you can go to http://www.gelon.net/ This provides you with several wapphones emulators. http://misterhouse.net:8080/SUB:menu_wml was succesfull accessed here Will try to access via a real Ericsson R320 later on. Is it safe to assume that the work your doing here > will also support tell-me? (Seems to be a perfect fit) Yep, I was planning on writing a menu_tellme function as soon as I get the menu_lcd function working. I found another company at http://community.voxeo.com that allows you to setup vxml to unique phone numbers, but numbers are only in major metro areas (no 1-800 number), and I think these numbers are for testing functions that you would eventually pay them for, but I'm not sure. The Samsung 8500 looks like a nice phone ( http://e10.sprintpcs.com/store/show_phone.asp?sku=SCH8500SHS ). 4 lines x ?? characters? Anyone have phones with 6 or 8 line displays? I've disabled the part of the code that actually runs the command, so I can post this for anyone with a wml enabled cell phone to try: http://misterhouse.net:8080/SUB:menu_wml At the moment I have just a few simple menus defined: http://misterhouse.net/mh/code/bruce/menu.pl http://misterhouse.net/mh/code/bruce/lights.menu I'll document the format of these menus after I finish the lcd and vxml menus. I'm open to changing the syntax on the menus if you guys come up with better ideas. The basic idea was to allow for a simple, low puncuation way of specifing nestable menus, with display, action, and response text/functions. The docs I read said wml decks are limited to about 1400 characters, so if I did it right, you should see as you navigate the menus deeper, a pause between some menus as it goes out and gets another deck of cards (a card is one scrollable menu). I think there is some more optimization we can do with the wml to make is smaller, but 1400 sure seems like a dorky limit.
