Introduction
MIST keeps a log of error messages by default. It may be useful to examine or attach this log when getting help. Here's how to find it...
Note: Once you find it you can edit it with Notepad or any other word processing file.
On Windows XP
- Click the Start Menu, then Run...
- Enter:
%APPDATA%\MIST\logs
- Look for mist.log (it's likely the only file there.)
On Windows Vista/7/8/10
- Click the Windows Menu
- Type:
%APPDATA%\MIST\logs
- Look for mist.log (it's likely the only file there.)
On Mac OS X
- In the Finder, choose the "Go" menu. Press and hold the Alt (Option) key. Select "Library" when it appears.
- Open "Logs", then "MIST".
- Look for mist.log (it's likely the only file there.)
