While it is playing a frame animation if we click "new"
sometimes it freezes.

Good catch. I can reproduce this, though I haven't looked to see what the actual cause is. I may have to disable playback when a new animation is created.

This will be fixed in 1.3.6 (the fix is *not* in the current preview release).
