#1858 Aesthetics: Initial view of a Ravel

The current initial view shows the first data point in a Ravel. It might be better to start with all selector dots in the centre. Since most files will contain time series data, it might also be worthwhile to make time dimension(s) the first axis (right-pointing), so that the first chart attached will default to a line chart over the time dimension.
