The attached file has several bookmarked description that are associated with Descriptions, but they are not appearing in the bookmark list. Seems like they should always appear if the Description's bookmark check box is set.
I found a way to get them to appear in the bookmark list.
- Open the file
- Check the bookmark list, there are only 3.
- View the whole canvas
- On the right third there is a 5x5 grid of plots. Select the whole grid and move it a little.
- Create a bookmark anywhere using "Bookmark this position".
- Check the bookmark list, it will now have a lot more bookmarks. Many start with "Figure 4.x ..." these Descriptions are in the top half of the 5x5 grid
I have also noticed both types of bookmarks disappearing over time., but I haven't tried to recreate the sequence. If I can I'll post a separate bug.
Pedro has a potentially related bug related to using undo, which can remove bookmarks.
I think the issue here is that for some reason, the descriptions used as bookmarks are not being saved in the model's bookmark list, which I cannot explain. But simply looping over all items in the model at load time and call adjustBookmark() at least makes all items with bookmark checkboxes consistent with the bookmark list, which fixes this issue.
