When I'm defining a variable or parameter, the Enter key doesn't work to choose OK--instead the definition fails to occur.

Works for me. Note I have to move the mouse cursor into the canvas window to cause the updated variable name to appear. Is that what you mean?
No. For both me and Ty in a presentation he gave yesterday, pressing the Enter key on the dialog box for defining an integral had the effect of pressing Escape: the int1 remained and whatever you'd typed as a name was lost.
I'll make a video of it soon.
Clicking OK works, but enter after typing the name doesn't. Seems like "Cancel" button has the focus.
I've still been unable to reproduce, on either 3.0 or the latest, on either Windows or Linux.
