#617 Using index and gather

I thought I could use one of these to extract specific values from arrays, but neither worked. This could be my unfamiliarity with the widgets, but if I'm feeling it then so would be commercial users.

Notice that the input to gather is the first entry in the array, when it should be the whole array.

The index operation index refers to the value of the x-vector coordinate, not the index in the array.
But then this should have worked :P
