It would be useful if the A-L-E=0 check was algebraic rather than arithmetic. This would enable showing the consequences of interest not being fully paid, for example. Then (say) alpha times Interest would go to the bank as income and (1-alpha) would be added to the outstanding debt.

This is what happens now; it would be great if an algebraic sum showed this obeyed A-L-E=0.
