#242 Publication tab should support adding selections from wiring tab

Adding to a publication tab should work from a selection as well as from individual items. In this case, the wiring should be copied to the Tab as well.

This is for model documentation purposes. I wanted to explain the flowchart process in my current book, and wanted to take just a segment rather than a whole diagram. At the moment, that can't be done. But I think this would be a major usage people will make of the Tabs for both Minsky and Ravel.

Is this about generating vector graphics of the canvas for books? That can be done now, in a number of ways - including grouping the selection in question, opening the group in canvas, then exporting the result as the file. Also you can save the group as a file, of not the selection itself, and then reopen in another instance of Minsky to export just that part. There are also tools that allow post-hoc editing of (eg) SVG files, for example InkScape.

Publication tabs are more about "dashboards" - working views on the model, for which I don't see the use case for wires yet. Note you can create arrows between items by adding a note with an arrow (eg \nwarrow) and rotating and scaling it as necessary (I credit Ty with discovering that trick!).

No, it’s more than just that. I see this as how a developer will explain
his logic, as well as show the results, as current programs allow.

Take my trick to derive GDP from data on debt and debt to GDP ratios. I’d
like to include that in a document showing credit dynamics, so being able
to copy the relevant flowchart objects with the existing arrows would be
really helpful.

Adding wiring selection to the Publication tab will be a huge help. Although there are other ways to do that, adding that versatility to the Publication tab will be very useful.
