Would you give me some advice on where to start? It has been a while I've taken a look at the code, but I'll try to help you. You can start by looking at special_user.ext.php which is the closest to what you try to achieve. You just need to simplify it a bit. User page overlays page from database which is not needed for your page so o in page handler return your new page if tag is null and name is name of your page. Your page class should extend MW_SpecialPage, only get_wiki_content() is needed to be overridden. Have a nice day. Stepan Roh |

Hello. On Sun, 11 Feb 2007, Charles B. wrote: > Can somebody help me to change the timezone of miniwiki to show me > the real time when I edit and save a page ? It shows the time in timezone set on the server. You can change it for PHP by setting date.timezone in php.ini (see http://php.net/manual/en/ref.datetime.php#ini.date.timezone for more information). In some future version of miniWiki the timezone will be per-user setting. Have a nice day. Stepan Roh |

Hello. I am moving this to the mailing list. Please find the answer below. On Sat, 18 Nov 2006, Rodry wrote: > I'm a italian user, I want to upload the mini-wiki, but I dont > understand how to install the wiki. > I've e hosting, I've a MySQL database and I've uploaded alla the files in > the package, and now, how can I continute? what I have to do to install the > wiki? Just follow the README: "Installation ------------ Unpack distribution archive somewhere under your web server's document directory, make changes in userdefs.php and maintenance/.htaccess as hinted inside, change $install_pass in maintenance/install.php and point your browser to it, when asked for username and password use the ones from inside the script (stored in variables $install_user and $install_pass). Script will then fill the storage with initial data. Do not forget to close access to install.php in maintenance/.htaccess." Just edit the values in userdefs.php according to configuration of your hosting (like MySQL hostname, database name, user name and password). If you have some more questions feel free to ask. Have a nice day. Stepan Roh |

All those warnings and errors are related to things which are no longer valid in PHP 5. I may have time some day to try to make PHP 5 happy while still making it work on PHP 4, but not in the near future, sorry. Have a nice day. Stepan Roh |

Hello. miniWiki 0.3 was released. In this release fully automated install/upgrade was added which uses new XML import/export functionality. UI layout is partially editable through Wiki itself. Pages and uploads are organized in namespaces. Source code was heavily reorganized and now allows to add extensions. Download from http://miniwiki.sf.net. Have a nice day. Stepan Roh |

Hello, I had problems with file upload, its were corrupted each time. so I modify $this->db->exec_statement('insert into '.MW_DB_TABLE_UPLOADS.' ('. MW_DB_TABLE_UPLOADS_COLUMN_NAME. ', '. MW_DB_TABLE_UPLOADS_COLUMN_REVISION. ', '. MW_DB_TABLE_UPLOADS_COLUMN_CONTENT. ', '. MW_DB_TABLE_UPLOADS_COLUMN_MESSAGE. ', '. MW_DB_TABLE_UPLOADS_COLUMN_USER. ') values (?, ?, ?, ?, ?)', $this->upload_name, $rev, addslashes($content), $message, $this->user); In lib/miniwiki.php, near line 1060 in function update($content, message) I added addslashes and then it works fine. But I think it's stange, Isn't it ? Should I modify it another way ? (version 0.2 from sourceforge download page.) bye ;) |

In snapshots this should be solved, in 0.2 you can try to edit miniwiki.php and change MW_Request constructor to contain: if (get_magic_quotes_gpc()) { $_REQUEST = array_map("stripslashes", $_REQUEST); } I don't know whether $_REQUEST is mutable. If not, copy it to some variable and use it in the rest of MW_Request(). Have a nice day. Stepan Roh |
