I ran the testminigl program on my pilot, but shading was not turned on or did not work. All I got was all white or all black on each edge of the cube. I am using PalmOS version 3.3 on a Palm III.
I uploaded a new testminigl release in the \"file release\" section. Try that out. I was able to run the testminigl test.prc file on the Palm emulator configured as a Palm III with OS v3.3, and it worked fine. Perhaps you got an intermediate work-in-progress release. Please let me know which testminigl release you used (or from the CVS), and how you compiled/ran it. Thanks!

Neither the version 0.3 nor the new release nor the most current in CVS displayed the rotating cube in greyscale. All the files were transferred to the device by hotsync with any previously downloaded version deleted. I am not attempting to compile testminigl.

Okay, please verify that you in fact have OS v3.3 by going into \"info\" and noting the version number. The testminigl 031800 release should have greyscale by default on OS v3.3 or higher. If you grab the testminigl.031800.tar.gz file from the \"file release\" section, and install the test.prc program from the archive, you should see greyscale. Are you seeing just wireframe (black lines, no filling), or is it just monochrome (some polys all black, some all white)?

I have verified OS 3.3 in the system about box. I am seeing both wireframe and shaded modes, but in shaded, the sides of the box are either black or white. I downloaded Mahjongg to see if any greyscale programs worked, and it did display a couple of greys.

Okay, thank you. I will try to track this down, but it\'ll be quite difficult as I also am running 3.3, and can see wireframe and shaded, and indeed the shaded mode has greyscale rendering. I\'ll explore the possibility of it being your Palm III (I have a IIIx, but that shouldn\'t make a difference).
