#68 replace inotify with -number of files- in media dir
Myself like I guess many other users use minidlna fetching media content via a cifs/NFS share. cifs/NFS does not support inotify... but how about minidlna checking every N minutes how many files are present in the media dir and rebuild the database if a different number is found?
Easy peasy.
I would call this a duplicate of request [#79], which asks for a more workable update mechanism.
